ARTAS vs. Traditional Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) Boca Raton
The ARTAS® System utilized by Dr. Glenn M. Charles is the most technologically advanced method of harvesting individual follicular units for hair transplantation to restore loss of hair density and fill in thinning and balding areas on the scalp.
During the traditional Follicular Unit Excision method, hairs are harvested for implantation manually using either a non-mechanical or automated punch devise. This is a time-consuming, labor-intensive, and only a moderately accurate process due to a certain amount of human guess-work and error involved in the process.
The ARTAS® method is a robotic computerized system, utilizing several cameras and numerous alogorithms, under the complete control of Dr. Charles that maps the donor site area, targets robust hair follicles in the naturally occurring growth angle, uses punches of 1 millimeter or less and allows intact follicular units to be extracted from the scalp in the most precise, efficient and accurate manner available.
I can not believe how there wasn’t any pain at all after the procedure
Hey Alexia,Anonymous Hair Patient
Thanks for checking up. I am feeling great. I can not believe how there wasn’t any pain at all after the procedure. I’ve spoken to some friends that have done this in the past and their experience is totally different then mine. The scabs are definitely getting lighter, so I’m almost back to normal. I read that I am supposed to gently rub them off but I am just letting them come off by itself over time. Other than that, I am very happy that I made the decision to get this done. I am almost certain that I will need another procedure some time in the future to tie up the transplanted hairs with some other balding areas. At least now I am more confident since I know there will be no pain.
Anyway, thanks for checking up.
Have a great day!!
