Question:
What tools are needed to perform FUE procedures?

Answer:
The tool utilized with Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) procedures is a small punch-like instrument used to carefully surround the individual follicular units and extract them one by one from the donor area.

The instruments used to create the recipient sites and the instruments used to place the grafts within the recipient sites are the same as used in regular follicular unit transplantation (FUT) surgery.

The only utilized instrument difference between FUE and FUT is the device used to extract the follicular units. There are also no stitches needed in the donor area following FUE procedures.
