Question:
I am planning two separate hair transplant sessions; one to my crown and the other to work on my hairline. Which one should be performed first and why?

Answer:
Generally it is recommended that if a patient has hair loss in two areas, one of which includes the frontal and hairline region, we suggest that you have any frontal and hairline work done first. Generally, as patients get older the crown area becomes less important as it is not as easy to visualize.

When patients have hair loss in the frontal and hairline areas, they are able to see this every time they look in the mirror and it is certainly more noticeable to other people, so that is one of the reasons why we recommend to do hair restoration in the frontal area first and then moving toward the back and crown with additional sessions if needed later.
