Question:
How successful are hair transplants performed on women?

Answer:
Hair transplantation in females is very successful. I believe that it is equally successful as it is in men.

In most cases, however, women having a hair transplantation procedure have more hair to begin with so sometimes it is a littler harder to see the results when compared to a man who often starts with very little hair in the area and the results are very obvious.

It should be noted that the incidence of post-operative shock and/or temporary thinning in the transplanted area does occur slightly more frequently in females than males.
